The Excellence of Qiyaam al-Layl
Numerous Ahaadeeth and Qur'anic verses mention the excellence of Qiyaam al-Layl and the merit of those who perform it regularly. Aa'ishah (radhi allahu anha) reported that the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: 'The most beloved deeds to Allah are the most constant, even if they were little.' [Saheeh al-Bukharee and Saheeh Muslim] and she said in another narration: 'Do not ever stop praying Qiyaam. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) never ceased praying it. When he was sick or weak, he prayed sitting.' [Saheeh al-Bukharee and Saheeh Muslims] He (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: 'You should pray Qiyaam al-Layl, for it is the habit of the righteous people who came before you, and it will bring you closer to your Lord, expiate for bad deeds, prevent sin, and expel disease fr more...

Last Sermon of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)
His sermon was delivered on the Ninth Day of Dhul-Hijjah (Islamic Calendar) i.e. 10 A.H. on Mount of Rahmat in the plains of 'Arafat in Mecca, during the Hajj pilgrimage.
After praising and thanking Allah the Prophet (saws) said: "O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that he will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah

 Wisdom of the Day
The Prophet Muhammad ( Peace be upon him ) said :" Whatever you say in celebration of God's glory, majesty and oneness, and all your words of praise for Him, gather around the Throne of God. These words resound like the buzzing of bees, and call God's attention to the person who uttered them. Don't you wish to have someone there in the presence of God who would call attention to you?"
