Hifz Program - Part Time (Boys)
For further information, contact email@example.com
Goal: To establish a part-time hifz program that will provide children in the community an opportunity to read and memorize the whole Quran after the school hours. The program is not intended just for teaching how to read the Quran.
Program Hours: The program is four days a week - Monday through Thursday - with two sessions each day. The first session is from 4:30 – 6:30pm and the second session is from 6:30 – 8:30 pm with breaks for prayers (if prayer times fall during the school hours). Students will be assigned to one of these two sessions.
Students: Students to be enrolled in the program must be 7-16 years old, and shall be able to read any part of the Quran independently. Students will be screened by Hifz Program teachers and only the best performing students (during screening) will be accepted for enrollment. Students must be enrolled in regular schooling (public or private) and should have good academic and behavioral performance records. Noor Hifz program shall not be responsible for student(s) performance in their regular schooling.
Parents: Parents shall make sure that students are brought to the class at least 10min before the class starts and arrive 10 min before the class ends to pick up the students. Students shall not be dropped or left outside the classrooms. Parents have to play a significant role for the success of their children in this program. The whole family’s daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly activities have to be planned based on the schedule of the Hifz program students. Remember that this program is throughout the year except the holidays for only a few weeks as described in the Full-time Hifz Program calendar. This program will be very family oriented where parents have to be actively involved in running the program. A “Parents’ Association (PA)” will be formed and parents or designees will be scheduled for mandatory volunteering for certain number of hours on a weekly or monthly basis.
Teacher(s): There will be one main teacher and one assistant teacher for a class of 10-15 students. The main teacher will be a certified Hafiz (except under the circumstances when a Hafiz is not available) while the assistant teacher may be a certified Hafiz or an experienced Quranic teacher.
Tuition: The tuition is $175/student/month. One-time registration fee of $50/student/year has to be paid during registration. Three months’ tuition along with the registration fee will be collected which shall be deposited during the registration (Checks payable to AIW with a memo ‘Noor Hifz Program tuition). An automatic monthly payment to the Noor Hifz Program for the months after the first three months has to be established using a form provided during the registration.
Program Policies and Guidelines: Detailed policies and Guidelines on 1) student code of conduct, 2) guidelines for parents, 3) teachers’ duties, 4) student discipline, suspension and expulsion policies, 5) policy on inclement weather will be provided during the registration.
Waiver of Responsibility/Disclaimer: The Noor Hifz or its any officials, teachers, volunteers and other representatives shall not be held responsible for any incident or accident that may occur in the NICC premises during or before and after the school hours. Parents/guardians are responsible for prompt drop-offs and pickups. The school will not facilitate any supervision other than school hours. Students are responsible for their own belongings and the school will not be responsible for lost items.

Narrated Abu Huraira (radi Allahu anhu):
I heard Allah's Apostle (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) saying. 'Allah divided Mercy into one-hundred parts and kept ninety-nine parts of it with Him and sent down one part on earth. And because of that, its one single part, His creations are Merciful to each other, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof away from its young lest it should hurt it.
