About the Instructor:
Br. Nabeel Alauddin is a graduate of the Bayyinah DREAM program, where he studied Arabic directly under renowned teachers such as Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan, Sh AbdulNasir Jangda, Sh Yasir Birjas, and Imam Omar Suleiman.  Nabeel has served NICC previously as an Islam 101 Instructor, Vice-President of the Youth Group.  He now serves as the Co-President of the Ohio State University's Muslim Students' Association and delivers khutbahs in the community.  He is currently a senior and completing his dual-degree in Arabic and Management Information Systems.
 
 
 
 
 
Some examples of what you will learn
 
  1. Understand the ideas of raf' (مرفوع), nasb (منصوب), and jarr (مجرور)as they relate to isms
  2. Be able to analyze status (إعراب), number (عدد), gender (جنس), and type (قسم) for a given ism
  3. Be able to recognize and analyze the following fragments: idhafa (إضافة), noun-adjective (موصوف صفة), pointers (أسماء الإشارة), harf of jarr (حروف الجر), harf of nasb (حروف النصب)
  4. Understand pronouns and their attached versions (ضمير متصل و ضمير منفصل)
  5. Basic understanding of nominal sentence (جملة إسمية)
  6. Basic conjugation of the past tense verb (فعل ماض)
  7. Basic conjugation of the present tense verb (فعل مضارع)
  8. Light and lightest forms of present tense (حروف جازمة و ناصبة المضارع)*
  9. Very basic understanding of commanding and forbidding (فعل أمر و نهي)*

And because of that, its one single part, His creations are Merciful to each other, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof away from its young lest it should hurt it.
