Usu Do Tae-Kwon-Do at NICC

Usu Do means ‘The Path of Excellence’.  Philosophically it represents the pursuit of excellence in all endeavors.  The art focuses on traditional Korean martial art forms, techniques, manners and discipline.  Usu Do also incorporates Olympic Taekwondo sparring.  Taekwondo has been an official Olympic sport since the 2000 Summer Games. Our mission is to promote self-confidence, responsibility, respect, courage and success. We have opportunities to participate not only in local and out-of-state tournaments but also in the future, to reach National Tournament.

Our Head Instructor is Kyo Sa Eric Isaacs.  With over 35 years of experience he is a certificated martial arts instructor with the World Dang Soo Do Union and a USA Taekwondo certified coach.  He has coached Taekwondo athletes at local, state and national levels.  His philosophy is that a strong traditional martial arts foundation is the key to success in Taekwondo competition and in life.
